I'm a Proud Grandpa for the 6th Time
I became a proud grandfather for the 6th time on January 30, 2009 at 7:53am. Please allow me to present my new grandaughter. Her name is Nova. Ain't she a beauty?
Nice looking baby. Look at all that black hair. I am happy for you and your family. It has been in the teens for over a week, only getting up to 36 in the middle of the day, I hope it kills a few ticks and fleas. I am still sick, take care, Cat
Congratulations. I started too late in life to enjoy the pleasures you are experiencing with such a beautiful child. You are blessed and I shall say prayers for you, your children and your grandchildren...all of them.
Thanks everybody. She is truly a treasure. She had that full head of black hair when she was born. She has even more now.
She makes me want to be young again so I could have more kids of my own.
My daughter and her husband have assured me that I will get plenty of quality (babysitting ???) time with her.
I'm already whispering the four rules of firearm safety in her ear and thinking of our first day on the range together. Hopefully I'll live until she is that age.
I look forward to it. My kids, grandkids and the time I spend with them are most of the few pleasures I have left in life.
Congrats on your grand child. I am visiting your blog for the first time after seeing your comments on Xavier's post gun bias. Your exp, as you mentioned, is unfortunately rather familiar and struck a chord. I am in academia as well, and have been told to look for position in obscure rural places because of my 2A affliction :)
Best of luck in your book. I am looking forward to it.
Congratulations, Grandpa. I saw your comment on the article about the Wisconsin teacher, suspended because of the rifle photo, and I am writing to lend encouragement, if such be necessary, to your plan to publish a book about your experiences in the socialist soup of academia. I'd like to buy the first copy, but in eleven years I will certainly be living on borrowed time. Can you hurry it a little?

I take no shit from anyone. I also give no shit to anyone unless you give me reason to. I call it like I see it and I don't care whether you like it or not. I'm here to speak my piece not to convince you to change. Take what you need from here and leave the rest. The last thing I want to do is preach or push my way of life on others. I just say what I think. If you don't like it, get the fuck out of here and don't read it.
